Built so teachers can spend more time teaching

Classmate started from a simple observation: the planning load keeps growing, while the part of the job that matters most still happens in the classroom. We build a practical first draft. Teachers keep professional judgement.

Why we built it

Classmate is founded by Marc and Melissa Close. We wanted a planning tool that understands Australian classrooms: curriculum language, mixed-ability classes, and the need to walk in with a lesson plan, slides and a worksheet that hang together.

How we work

Every output is a starting point. You refine it in the chatbot or edit it directly, then export a PDF when it is ready. We support Australian Curriculum v9, NSW syllabuses and Victorian Curriculum F–10 Version 2.0, and we keep expanding based on teacher demand.
